Cross-Stitch Studio privacy policy

Cross-Stitch Studio ("the app") is made by Oleksandr Prokopchuk, publishing as Colabox.NET ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app on Android.

Your pictures and patterns stay on your device

• Pictures you choose from your gallery, camera or files are turned into patterns on your device. They are never uploaded to us.
• Your projects, patterns, stitching progress and settings are stored only on your device. We have no servers and no user accounts, so we cannot see them.
• PDFs you download, print or share go only where you send them.
• Uninstalling the app deletes this data. Android's own device backup may keep a copy in your Google account if you have backup turned on.

Ads in the free version

The free version shows a short video ad, only when you choose to watch one before exporting a PDF. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process:

• your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers,
• approximate location derived from your IP address,
• information about the ad interactions and app usage needed to serve, measure and protect against fraud.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent screen before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time from Ad privacy settings in the app menu. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Cross-Stitch Studio Pro shows no ads, and the ads code does not start for Pro users.

Purchases

Cross-Stitch Studio Pro is bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card or payment details. The app only checks with Google Play whether Pro was purchased on your account.

Permissions

• Internet: used only for ads and for checking your Pro purchase.
• Photos and files: only the pictures you pick yourself, through Android's picker.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Ads are limited to family-friendly content.

Data we collect

We, the developer, do not collect, store or sell any personal information. The only data collection is by Google for ads and purchases, as described above.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
